San Diego Project Management, PSC (SDPM) performed as a subcontractor to the Prime for a USAR project for the Louisville District USACE as a Design Director, QA for the design and QC and LEED AP during the construction. The Reserve Center was a design-build contract for a Bath and Laundry Unit in San Juan, PR. A 30,000 SF facility on two installations for a cost of $12M. Working with the Prime Contractor RBC Construction, SDPM executed the design from a bubble diagram. Design cost: $1.1M.

As the Design Director for the Prime, the team was the first contractor in Puerto Rico to undergo a complete design process with the USACE using Projenet, Dr. Checks and QCS. As part of the Design Quality Assurance program we wrote the Basis of Design (BOD), Energy Modeling, plans and specification and we reviewed all submittal and shop drawings before sending them to the USACE in QCS, SDPM specified the commissioning of the facilities. We staffed the project during construction in two locations with three employees to perform QC duties and LEED AP for the Prime Contractor. The project earned the first USGBC rating of Gold in the Commonwealth of PR.
