cOMPANY HISTORY

After years of successful services as Director of Engineering and Facilities Maintenance in the US Army, Patrick J. Balcazar, decided to organize personal projects in which he could place at the service of his clients the skills, knowledge and, above all, the experience acquired during his decades of service in the construction project management field. With eyes on this goal, on January 30, 2000, San Diego Project Management, PSC emerged.

During the first six years of business, its main objective was to provide engineering services and contract management for the construction industry and surety business. Working hand in hand with the surety market, San Diego Project Management, PSC offered engineering, management, construction and solutions to agreements in breach of contracts. San Diego Project Management resolved more than forty projects and served as examples of the company's ability to search "out of the box" solutions to effectively complete contracts. Thus, avoiding the use of traditional legal resources that tend to increase costs and unexpectedly delay projects.

Using the benefits available and opportunities for Disabled Veterans, he enrolled the company as a Small Business Service for Disabled Veterans. Since its enrollment in this program, San Diego Project Management, PSC has dedicated all its efforts in providing the best engineering and construction services for the Department of Veteran Affairs in Puerto Rico.
