The firm San Diego Project Managers, PSC was asked by the Facility Managers as a sole source contract to design-build a fuel monitoring station and a fleet fuel management system for the wide inventory of Diesel, Gas and E85 Gas fuel stored on the campus for the Caribbean Medical Center, VA San Juan, PR. As the Project Manager, San Diego Project Management designed, performed the QA and QC of the project, while subcontractors worked on the installation, programming, and coordination of the sensors, hardware, electrical systems, and software installation. 

Using "state of the art" sensor, the system can monitor the use of fuel from cellular phones and will provide data to the building control system and the VA logistics system to reorder fuel, all of this developed by San Diego Project Management, PSC, and its team.

San Diego Project Management, PSC  was the principal designer of record, responsible for writing, preparation, and editing of the design, construction specifications and plans, the approval of the shop drawings and submittals. As part of the design-build process San Diego Project Management, PSC was also responsible for the schedule and the finalization of the project within the budget submitted in the proposal.
