Mr. Emilio Márquez, PE

Mr. Emilio Márquez, PE is one of our more experienced collaborators since 2008.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus in 1977.

During his career, he has labored in the safety and health sector for the government of Puerto Rico as well as other prestigious international companies and laboratories on the Island such as:  The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Department of Health, Environmental Health Secretary; RBC Construction Corporation; Global Turnkey Services Inc. (GTKS), Pfizer Pharmaceuticals; Yonkers Industries, Inc., Amgen Manufacturing Ltd; Wang Laboratories and others.

His meticulous and fine performance has paired with several well-earned awards like: Environmental Award: for the initiative in the use of Best Management Practices for the disposal of hazardous wastes Texaco Puerto Rico (1990); Distinguished Safety Performance Award Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association (PRMA) Texaco Puerto Rico (1996); President’s Safety Award for a Major Construction Project Lockwood Greene (2000); Safety Excellence Award for a Major Construction Project Pharmacia Corporation (2000); Distinguished Safety Performance Award Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association (PRMA) Caribbean Project Management (2002– 2003).

Mr. Márquez is a registered Professional Engineer and member of the College of Engineers and Surveyors of Puerto Rico.
