Project description:
Development of a biofuel production project at the Eureka Farm, Dorado, PR. SDPM provided project management services to Biolipids of Puerto Rico, including engineering, cost analysis and a feasibility study to build up a bioenergy development based on microalgae, tilapia and shrimp integrated in a symbiotic system in open ponds. The project also contemplated the installation of ponds for treating wastewaters resulting from the process and the evaluation of using microalgae to remove excess nutrients from these wastewaters. SDPM provided engineering assessment to construct these water treatment ponds.
