San Diego Project Management, PSC,'s project consisted of making repairs to existing firewalls and smoke barrier walls as were listed in an assessment made by the VA Safety Department. The work included: sealing with fire stopping material all pipes, cable trays and A/C ductwork penetrations through fire or smoke barriers in 8 floors of the South Bed Tower, repairment to fire or smoke barriers that had gaps and were not finished all the way up to the concrete ceiling. Additionally, the work included the provision and installation of pass-through devices for the cable trays penetrations.
